Earthquake in Venezuela — June 24, 2026

EHDN joins the global Huntington’s disease community in standing with the people of Venezuela in the aftermath of the earthquakes that struck on Wednesday 24 June.

Coming amid ongoing geopolitical and economic uncertainty, this is a further blow to an already vulnerable community – including the families of Zulia, whose generations-long participation in HD research has been foundational to our understanding of the disease.

Our thoughts are with everyone affected.
