Aims
Every Huntington disease patient has the right to receive comparable, high-quality occupational therapy.
Occupational therapists are experts in assessing, analyzing and coaching the best possible balance in meaningful activities of daily living in areas which could include: work, domestic skills, driving, leisure or sleep.
The group’s intention is to provide quality occupational therapy (OT) by developing a consensus of best practice Huntington’s disease through OT guidelines and/ or clinical tips.
Projects
- Collecting case studies related to patients, care, interventions, methods, and equipment and mapping these against clinical tips
- Updating clinical tips
- Developing occupational therapy standards
