Working Group and Task Force Purpose
A key facet of EHDN is supporting research that facilitates the development of novel HD treatments and clinical tools to measure their effects. Working Groups and Task Forces help to implement the EHDN Scientific Strategy and receive support from the Think Tank in various ways, including assistance with:
- Discussing novel HD-related scientific ideas
- Formulating key scientific and EHDN strategic questions
- Identifying potential collaborators or funding opportunities for research
- Creating and supporting Task Forces to address specific scientific questions proposed by the Think Tank or other groups
If you cannot find what you are looking for in our existing Working Groups or think a new group should be established, please get in touch with the EHDN Think Tank.
Working Group and Task Force Membership
All HD researchers, clinicians, and individuals affected by HD who want to contribute to HD research are welcome to join the Working Groups. EHDN members should contact the lead facilitator and the associated EHDN Language Area Coordinator of the Working Group or Task Force in which they are interested (contact details are provided in the summary of each group on this page). You should also contact the EHDN Central Coordination to request a login for the members-only area of the webpage associated with that Working Group. We encourage and welcome members’ participation.
